Week ending 17 June :All seven Saturday sides win

 

The 1st XI were at home to second placed Ingatestone 1st XI and batting first totalled 247-6, Danny White (127*) and Marcus Cornish (52) leading the scoring. In reply Ingatestone were bowled out for 115, Jason Ox and Keith Sharp taking 3 wickets each the latter with a hat trick.

The 2nd XI travelled to Willow Herbs 1st XI who batted first and were bowled out for 161, Trevor Nunn taking 4-39 and Chris Frost 3-10. Rayleigh passed this score for the loss of 4 wickets, Chris Frost (40*), Neil Henson (39) and Andy Impey (34) top scoring.

The 3rd XI were away to Tillingham 2nd XI who batting first scored 106 all out, John Stirk (4-30), Nick Green (3-30) and Mark Acraman (1-9) off 9 overs were the pick of the bowlers. Rayleigh scored 163-4 to win by 6 wickets, Kalpesh Patel (26*) and Darren Smith (26) being the main contributors.

The 4th XI were at home to Canvey Island 2nd XI, who scored 128-6 in their 45 overs, Nathan Healey taking 3-23. Rayleigh scored 129-2 in reply, Richard Verrinder (58*) and Brad Walker (33) top scoring.

The 5th XI played Rayne 2nd XI at Purleigh. Rayne batted first and were bowled out for 56, Luke Sullivan taking 4-7 and Matt Dobson taking 4-9. Rayleigh passed this score for the loss of 2 wickets.

The 6th (Dragons) XI were at home to Rankins 4th XI and batting first scored 112, Sam Martin top scoring with 22.

Rankins were bowled out for 53, Josh Jones taking 5-5 off 5.1 overs.

The 6th (Eagles) XI were away at Stanford-le-Hope 5th XI and batting first scored 191-7, Matt Belcher (112) and Alex James (54*) both acheiving personal best scores. In reply Stanford with quite a few 4th XI players playing were bowled out for 118, Matt Belcher taking 4-9.

 The Women & Girls XI batted first against Maldon and scored 101-3, Kelly Castle 28*, Rebecca Holyoak 25* and Michelle King 15. Maldon were bowled out for 39, Kelly Castle and Louise Harmsworth both taking 3 wickets.  

The Sunday XI were well beaten by Westcliff who scored 246-7 Matt Gilmore 3-33, Rayleigh being bowled out for111.
