Sir Garfield (Gary) Sobers visit cancelled.

Gary Sobers, famous West Indian captain and all-rounder (1954 -1974) was due to visit the Club on Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to watch some of our youngsters playing and then answer questions.  Unfortunately I have just had a call to say Gary has been taken ill and is terminating his UK tour so will not be coming.  He hopes to come to the UK next year and we are on the list of Clubs for him to visit.

The 2nd XI match at Great Totham was called off without a ball being bowled due a waterlogged pitch.
