At its meeting of 19th October 2009:
- Andy Thurogood was co-opted to fill the vacant Fixtures Secretary position until the AGM
- Simon Harwood was elected Vice-Chair until the next meeting
It was agreed that
- Andy Thurogood be the only official point of contact between the club and the Dawbarn family
- Colin White run the club bar with monies being directed to Mike Griffiths
AGM
It was established that the Treasurer (Mike Griffiths) would be standing down and it is likely that the Club Coaching Coordinator (Mike Humphrey) and the Ground Manager (John Charles) will also stand down. It was also established that the 2s, 5s and 6s captain positions currently has no known nominee. (It was suggested that the 6s may operate on a ad-hoc basis.) Nominations are sought for all the club’s positions and should be sent to Simon Harwood by Wednesday 28th October 2009
It was agreed to buy 2 wall mounted ashtray for use outside the pavilion.
Winter preparation
Winter preparation has been completed, including the outfield, and it was agreed to aerate the square on the new ground at a cost of approximately £500.
League AGM
Andy would attend the League AGM and if possible raise concerns over the poor standard of league balls.
