A notice has been posted on the SEDCB web-site about 5 places available on a strictly first-come, first served basis for 30-minute, one-to-one coaching sessions for children who are Under 15 as at September 1, 2011, at FitzWimarc School on Thursday evenings between Oct 6 and Dec 16. The sessions available will start at 8.00pm, 8.30pm or 9.00pm and will cost £175 for the full 12-week programme. Participants will receive a written report upon completion of the programme, which will highlight both strengths and areas for future development. Here is a flyer for a Street 20 cricket session that will be starting at Rayleigh Leisure Centre on 13^th November. A description of Street 20, if you haven’t come across it before, is on the flyer.

The Saturday session will run on a 6 week trial initially (through to Christmas). If successful, with funding from the Essex County Cricket Board, we will be able to keep the sessions running into 2011.

The sessions are aimed at the 12-16 age group (male and female / any ability).

The sessions are FREE and turn up and play but my number is on the flyer for any enquiries.

A cricket tour to the Isle of Wight has been arranged for Monday 23rd August till Friday 27th August 2010 staying at the Palmerston Hotel Bed & Breakfast. You have to book your own crossings. The cost £130 per person, which includes the cost of the tour T-Shirt.
