A team of 1st XI, 2nd XI and 6th XI players travelled to Rankins, who batted first and scored 215, Ian Bryant taking 3 wickets, Mike Law, John Stirk and David Hall two each. Rayleigh fell well short in reply, John Cook (49), Liam Druce and John Stirk top scoring.
The 3rd XI visited Ardleigh Green 2nd XI, who scored 166-3 in a timed game. In a badly rain affected reply Rayleigh batted out for a draw scoring 48-5.
The 4th XI travelled to Galleywood, who amassed 308-7 in their 40 overs, Ben James taking 4-65. Rayleigh totalled 133-6 in reply, Brad Walker (32) and Matt Walker (27) to lose by 175 runs.
