Four wins and one defeat for the Saturday League sides and a semi-final place for the Under 11As.
The 1st XI had a day off as the opposition had pulled out of the League earlier in the year.
The 2nd XI visited Eastwood 1st XI and batting first scored 244-7, Jason Ox (92), Andy Impey (60), George Barker (35) and Sam Verrinder (28*) leading the scoring. The hosts were bowled out for 136, Trevor Nunn taking 4-32 and Sree 3-20.
The 3rd XI travelled to Havering-atte-Bower 2nd XI and and batting first scored 298-7, Richard Abley (70*) and Darren Smith (48) top scoring. Havering were bowled out for 176, Nick Green taking 4-32.
The 4th XI entertained Eastwood 2nd XI , who batting first scored 222-2. Phil Wolff (49*) and Brad Walker (28) led the reply but the innings closed on 155-7, to fall short by 67 runs.
Eastwood 4th XI were the visitors to the 5th XI, and batting first were bowled out for 109, Tony Catling taking 6-33. Conor Slough (50) led the reply and Rayleigh passed their target for the loss of 3 wickets.
The 6th XI visited Old Chelmsfordians 4th XI and bowled them out for 137, Sam Levett taking 4 wickets and Jodie Billett and Louise Harmsworth 2 each. Rayleigh passed this total for the loss of 2 wickets, Duncan Bond (50*) and Chris Grob (49*) leading the scoring.
The 7th XI entertained Ilford Catholics 4th XI who scored 215-3 off their 40 overs. The 7th XI never looked likely to chase down this target against accurate bowling but with Dave Turner (59*) batting throughout the innings closed on 138-8 to give the visitors victory by 77 runs.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 13 League East Group. Rankins Under 13A batted first and scored 148-5 in their 20 overs, Elliot Ward taking 2-21. In reply Rayleigh Under 13A scored 71-7, William Wheeler retiring on 25 not out.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 11 League East Group. Rayleigh Under 11A batted first and scored 275-4 net 255 in their 20 overs. Leigh Under 11 scored 241-6 net 211. This result means that Rayleigh advance to the semi-finals to be held at the end of the month.

Four wins and two defeats for the Saturday League sides.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 1. The 1st XI travelled to Great Totham 1st XI who batted first and scored 235-5. Rayleigh passed this target for the loss of six wickets, Jason Ox (59), Ben Francis (40) and Andy Impey (42) leading the reply.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 3. The 2nd XI hosted Noak Hill 1st XI, who batted first and scored 137. Another poor start for the 2nd XI left them struggling at 80-6, but for the 3rd week running the tail saw them home by 3 wickets.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 5. The 3rd XI entertained Great Totham 2nd XI who batted first and scored 222-6 with Richard Abley taking 3-53. The 3rd XI batsmen struggled and were bowled out for just 131 with Steve Adams (38) and Alex Jones (37) top scoring.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 8. The 4th XI visited Noak Hill 2nd XI and batting first scored 170-7, Steve Gosling scoring 48 and Brad Walker 51. Noak Hill came near to winning a close game but were bowled out for 167 with John Wright taking 3-42.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 11. The 5th XI went to St Andrews and were put into bat and scored 319-5 with Rob Wilson (104) scoring his maiden Rayleigh century with support from Tony Catling (63) and Mitul Patel (63*). The hosts struggled in the face of scoreboard pressure and were all out for 111. Tony Catling 3-24, Gary Bush 3-33 leading the bowlers.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 12. The 6th XI played Thurrock 4th XI at Rawreth Lane. Thurrock batted first and scored 231-6 with David Hall taking 3-72. In reply the 6th XI struggled and were all out for 86.
The 7th XI were away to Chalkwell Misfits. The Misfits scored 257 in their 40 overs and restricted the 7th XI to 111 in reply.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 15A. Batting first Rayleigh scored 96-5, with runs from David Watts 19*, Joe Peppiatt 18, Conor Slough 16 & Craig Smith 15. Stanford le Hope U15A passed this for the loss of just 1 wicket.

Three wins and two defeats for the Saturday League sides and a semi-final defeat for the Women & Girls XI.
Despite a thunderstorm the previous evening only one game was lost to the weather.
The 1st XI entertained neighbours Rankins 1st XI in a game shortened to 35 overs as the pitch was very wet at the scheduled start time. Rankins batted first and scored 194-6, Matt Gilmore taking 3-44. Rayleigh fell short of this target by 12 runs despite a rapid knock of 55 by Jason Ox.
The 2nd XI visited Tillingham 1st XI who batted first were bowled out for 183, Liam Druce taking 3-7 and Trevor Nunn 3-35. The 2nd XI looked to be struggling to reach the target but a quickfire 50 not out from Sam Verrinder supported by Liam Druce (32*) enabled them to pass this total for the loss of seven wickets. This 50 was from just 21 balls and is the quickest so far this season - it also included 24 from just one over.
The 3rd XI game against Sandon Sports was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.
The 4th XI entertained Mountnessing, who batting first scored 259-6. Rebecca Holyoak (38), Steve Gosling (37) and Matt Walker (32) all started well but the team could not maintain the momentum and the innings closed on 216-9.
Boreham 2nd XI were the visitors to the 5th XI, who batted first and scored 257-8, Alan Brown (52*) leading the scoring. The visitors were bowled out for 120, Andy James taking 4-32, Gary Bush 3-18 and Tony Catling 3-38.
The 6th XI visited Hornchurch Athletic 4th XI, who had thrashed the 6th XI earlier in the season In a remarkable turn of fortune Rayleigh scored 300-5, Duncan Bond (94*) and Steve Rothon (81) both acheiving personal best scores. They then bowled the home side out for 54, Sam Levett taking 3-21.
The 7th XI entertained Thurrock 5th XI who scored 157 all out, Harry Donahue taking 4-12. Starting brightly the 7th XI were 83-2 after 20 overs with Mike Sullivan (42) and Adam Sullivan (17) going well but some excellent spin bowling slowed the scoring rate so that the 7th XI needed 35 off 5 overs. Some good shots by Adam Bailey (17) and Jess Walker (22) left the side needing 5 off the final over to win with the winning runs being scored off the penultimate ball.
Beaumont Seymour League Semi Final. The Women & Girls XI travelled to Colchester to play against Abingdon, runners up in the North Division. Batting first Rayleigh scored 43-1 off the first 10 overs and a reasonable score looked likely but the scoring rate dropped and wickets fell regularly with the innings closing on 83-6. After a slow start Abingdon accelerated and passed the target in the 16th over for the loss of three wickets. A disappointing end to a very successful season.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 15 League West Group. Rayleigh Under 15A batted first and scored 111-5 in their 20 overs, Craig Smith (29) and Conor Slough (26) top scoring. In a close finish Belhus Under 15 scored 105-8, Josh Jones taking 2-15 and Conor Slough and Liam Harrold 2-20 in their 4 overs.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 13 League East Group. Westcliff Under 13A batted first and scored 133-8, Tom King taking 3-35. In reply Rayleigh Under 13A scored 93-4, Jess Walker 27* and William Wheeler 22.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 13 B League. SOSEMT Under 13B batted first and scored 121-6, Jack Hadlow taking 2-30. In reply Rayleigh Under 13B scored 78-3, Sammy Perks 18.

Four wins and two defeats for the Saturday League sides.
The 1st XI travelled to Ingatestone 1st XI who batted first and scored 174 all out, Danny Frost taking 4-55 and Chris Frost 2-3. Rayleigh passed this target for the loss of three wickets, Jon Cook (75*) and Andy Impey (40) leading the reply.
The 2nd XI hosted Terling 1st XI, who batted first and scored 199 having been 94-6 at one stage in their innings, Liam Druce taking 3-29. At 81-6 in their innings the 2nd XI looked to be facing defeat but 7th (56) and 8th wicket (63*) stands by Sree (51*), Colin Mayor (24) and Sam Verrinder (40*) saw them home by 3 wickets.
The 3rd XI entertained St Johns Billericay 1st XI who batted first and were bowled out for 89, James Wratten taking 4-15, Nick Green 4-22 and Josh Jones 2-12. The 3rd XI passed this target for the loss of four wickets.
The 4th XI visited Hockley and batting first scored 159-7, Phil Wolff scoring 64 not out. Hockley were bowled out for 103, Sam Levett taking 4-37 and Max Jones taking 4-3.
In a top of the table game the 5th XI went to Galleywood 2nd XI and lost the toss on a difficult, wet pitch batting first scored 125-9. As the sun dried out the pitch the hosts had much the easier of the conditions and knocked the required runs off for the loss of five wickets to replace the 5th XI at the top of the table.
The 6th XI played Goresbrook 4th XI at Rawreth Lane. Batting first Chris Slough (28), Phil Hammond (31) and Simon Lennox gave the 6th XI a good start but when Simon retired hurt also on 31 the innings lost momentum and finished on 151-8, a target the visitors reached for the loss of three wickets.
The 7th XI friendly against Matthews was cancelled by Basildon Council on Friday afternoon as the pitch at Wickford Memorial was waterlogged.
Batting first Rayleigh Under 15As scored 111-6, Conor Slough (33) and Craig Smith (20) top scoring. In reply Horndon Under 15s scored 112-4 with three balls to spare, Tom Lopez taking 2-23.
Batting first Rayleigh Under 15Bs scored 57, Jess Walker (23). Southend EMT Under 15Bs scored 58-4 Cameron MacDonald taking 2-14. .
The Sunday Under 11 and Under 13 games were cancelled due to heavy rainfall in the morning.

Four wins and one loss for the Saturday League sides and another win for the Women & Girls XI.
The promised sunny spells did not materialize and all the games were interrupted by rain and bad light. Fortunately only one game was abandoned.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 1. The 1st XI entertained high flying Goresbrook 1st XI, who batted first and scored 262-4 in their 45 overs. After a heavy downpour and continued bad light the umpires abandoned the game after five overs with Rayleigh on 35-0.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 3. The 2nd XI visited Great Baddow 2nd XI who batted first were bowled out for 138, Sree taking 4-23. Rayleigh passed this total for the loss of three wickets, James Ellis (77*) top scoring.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 5. The 3rd XI visited Rayne 1st XI and batting first were all out for 161, Alex Jones (43) and Matt Lennox (30) leading the scoring. Josh Jones took 4-28 and James Wratten 2-29 in the host's reply but their efforts were in vain as they finished on 165-8.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 8. The 4th XI entertained top of the table Terling 2nd XI, who batting first were reduced to 32-7 but recovered to an all out total of 132, Luke Sullivan taking 7-21. Rayleigh started brightly with Conor Slough hitting 52 but after his departure the home side collapsed to 92-7. Phil Wolff (43*) and Luke Sullivan (9*) saw Rayleigh home by three wickets.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 11. Bentley 4th were the visitors to the 5th XI, who batted first and scored 254-5, Tony Catling (88*) and Rob Wilson (52) leading the scoring. The visitors were bowled out for 85, Sam Martin taking 6-17.
T Rippon Mid Essex League Division 12. The 6th XI visited top of the table Rainham 3rd XI. Batting first on a poor wicket they scored 137-9 in a reduced overs match, Chris Grob (34) and Simon Lennox (28) top scoring. Tight bowling by Jai Patel (4-19), Liam Harrold (3-39) and John Attfield (2-8) saw the home side all out for 98 to give the 6th XI an excellent win.
Due to an unfortunate misunderstanding the 7th XI opposition were unable to raise a side and the message did not get through leaving 11 disappointed players without a game.
Beaumont Seymour League South Division. The Women & Girls XI played at Maldon who batted first and were all out for 76, Louise Harmsworth taking 4 wickets. Rayleigh passed this total for the loss of 2 wickets, Sophie Lennox (22*) and Louise Harmsworth (19*). This victory means they top the South Division table and go forward to the semi-final and finals day at Colchester on Sunday 20th July.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 15 League West Group. Rayleigh Under 15A batted first and scored 107-5 in their 20 overs, Craig Smith (38) and Conor Slough (35) both retiring. In a nail biting finish Benfleet Under 15 needed two to win off the last ball but their batsman was run out without scoring to give Rayleigh a win by 1 run. Josh Jones took 3-12 in his 4 overs.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 15 B League. Old Southendians & Southchurch Under 15 B visited Rawreth Lane in a game where bowlers bowled straight and almost all batsmen played poor shots. The visitors were bowled out for 48, Tom Lopez taking 5 wickets for 2 runs in 3.2 overs and Elliot Ward 4-18 in 4 overs. The Rayleigh innings started with a quickfire 25 from Jess Walker and an early finish looked likely but after he was out the side collapsed to 44-8 and eventually just squeezed home by 2 wickets.
South Essex District Cricket Board Under 11 East Group. Rayleigh Under 11A scored 356-9 net score 311, Westcliff Under 11s 315-9 net score 270. Rayleigh win by 41 runs.
